Shooting at Pietros Restaurant Kills One Person, Injures Another

Police are investigating a double shooting that killed a woman and seriously injured an 18-year-old male. The shooting occurred at Pietros Restaurant at 2601 Osbourne Road at about 8:15 p.m. on June 23. This is a domestic-related incident.
Richard E. Parker 56, of the 100 block of Scrimshaw Drive, is accused of shooting his wife and a restaurant patron. Both victims were taken to VCU Medical Center. Cindy M. Parker 45, of the 100 block of Scrimshaw Drive, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The 18-year-old male patron is in critical condition.
Parker is charged with second degree murder, malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is being held without bond in the Chesterfield County Jail pending upcoming hearings in the Chesterfield County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court and Chesterfield County General District Court.
