The Ninety-Nines are Airlifting Toys to Chesterfield County Airport

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA — The Virginia Chapter Ninety-Nines, an international organization of women pilots, will be landing at Chesterfield County Airport, 7511 Airfield Drive, on Saturday, Dec. 10. The Ninety-Nines are landing to collect donations of new and unwrapped toys for children and new and unwrapped clothes for hospitalized veterans. Gift cards will also be accepted for donation. The toys, clothes and gift cards will benefit children of veterans and active military; and hospitalized veterans at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center. This event is free to attend and is open to the public.
The activities are scheduled from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and will include hot lunches for sale, live Christmas music and Santa will fly in at 10 a.m. The rain date for the toy airlift is Sunday, Dec. 11.
